It is pure, holy, and perfect. It covers all sin, imperfection, and insecurities. Jesus’ love for you is unwavering and steadfast. He knows everything about you - the good, the bad, and the ugly - and He loves you just the same as He always has and always will. He loves us through our messes, faults, and looks at us as His child. We cannot love others to our full ability until we rest in His full love for us. Rest in the assurance that He is for you, He loves you more than you can imagine, and calls you His own. There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. For fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears is not made in perfect love. We love because He first loved us. 1 John 4:18-19
